Activities
What do we do?
Our objective is to encourage the discovery of French music through four main activities :
- publishing a music review, EUTERPE.
- publishing synopses of reviews in paper form and online.
- dissemination of information through our website.
- organising concerts and conferences.
Our main focus is the publication of our review, EUTERPE as well as critical works which we sometimes write in partnership, providing analyses and assessments of a neglected, or even, unknown repertory.
The list of our publications is in the “catalogue” page. Initially spread over three themes, this has now been expanded to four since 2008.
The series “Musiciens français” (French Musicians) in over ten volumes, is devoted to composers from the 19th and 20th centuries.
The collection “Correspondance” (Correspondence), is a corpus of critical analyses of writings by composers or musicians.
The collection “Rencontres et liens” (Encounters and Connections), offers poetical or musical works and reviews in printed or audio format. Please note that the print version is currently out of stock.
The collection “Hommage” (Homage), is comprised of collective works dedicated to a personality from the musical world. Henri Sauguet is the subject of the first volume.
